The HorrorFest Screening and Awards ceremony is the public presentation of student short films created as part of the 4th annual Horror Film Race, hosted by the School of Communication, Film, and Media.

The films are created over the course of one week following a set of mystery criteria, with awards presented after the show in multiple categories, from best picture and best director to best weapon and best scream.

The event is free and open to the public, but everyone must have a ticket. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged.
