sophie milman

Sophie Milman, the Toronto-based jazz singer captivating audiences worldwide, will set West Georgia ablaze this spring with her sizzling quartet.

Back in 2008, Sophie was hitting landmark venues from the Kennedy Center and New York’s Blue Note to the Hollywood Bowl with artists like Chick Corea and the Manhattan Transfer. Her second album, "Make Someone Happy," won the Juno Award for Jazz Vocal Album of the Year after it topped the iTunes jazz chart in the U.S. and Canada for months.

Then came the US release on June 2, 2009 of her latest achievement, "Take Love Easy." Within 24 hours, "Take Love Easy" soared to #1 jazz album on iTunes USA and "I Can’t Make You Love Me" was the #2 single. Makes sense why Billboard declares "Sophie Milman clearly has the ability to turn heads in the jazz world." Don’t miss a shooting star!

Milman clearly fits the template for Hot Young Chanteuse, being stylish, good-looking, and vocally gifted…When she’s good, she’s very, very good.
