Enjoy an electrifying morning of steel drums, native history, and tropical splendor as Caribbean Sound presents an educational show that will capture your imagination.

Tiny Turkey

In “The case of not enough slop,” some very unhappy pigs need a Super Hero. Tiny Turkey steps in to save the day at the barnyard. With a lot of help from the children in the audience, Tiny uses his average intelligence, good heart, hard work and absolutely no super powers whatsoever, to solve problems for ducks, a kitty and a puppy. But watch out for Walt and Wanda Weasel! Who knows what they're up to?

Russian American Kids Circus presents
Be Dazzled! Be Wowed!! Be There!!!

The Russian American Kids Circus will transform the Townsend Center into a spectacular circus before your very eyes! Trained and produced by veterans of the world famous Moscow Circus, these artists fill the stage with synchronized acrobatics, unicycles, expert juggling, daring aerial feats, and balancing acts.

Shana Banana presents
Bananimagination!
Grades PreK through Second

“Bananimagination” is Shana Banana's whimsical and wonderful world of reading and creating stories. Using original songs such as “If I Ate My House,” “The Turkey Shot Out of the Oven,” “Big Alligator,” and “Pirate Scooterdoo,” the audience is introduced to the elements of plot, excitement, mystery, and silliness. Children are encouraged to participate with imaginary dog puppets, movement, and singing. As they participate in the stories and songs, the children gain an awareness of the craft of storytelling and the importance of reading.

The one and only Cat in the Hat guides a young boy named Jojo through a whirlwind tour of the magical world of Dr. Seuss. Various Seuss stories are set to music, including “Horton Hears a Who” and “Gertrude McFuzz.” This is one unforgettable celebration of perhaps the greatest children's literature of all time.
